About Us

Kathy Zotnowski, LMFT, Founder

Pronouns - She/Her

With a varied background in film and television production, fundraising, entrepreneurship, sales, marketing and psychology, Ms. Zotnowski brings a wealth of experience to Social Coaching Club, Inc. As a therapist, she specializes in stress reduction practices working extensively with adult and child survivors of sexual assault and assisting those in crisis and with trauma.  She has spent years investigating the mind-body-spirit connection and uses a holistic therapeutic approach that draws from several practitioners and theorists, especially Carl Jung, Carl Rogers and Jon Kabat-Zinn.  Ms. Zotnowski is also a certified mediator and has worked with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. She holds degrees with honors from both The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and California State University Northridge. 

Samantha Blank, LMFT, Founder

Pronouns - She/Her

Ms. Blank is passionate when it comes to her work with  her clients.  She earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge, graduating with honors. Ms. Blank is a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist, specializing in childhood and teen behavioral issues, and possesses expertise in trauma work with survivors of sexual assault and child abuse.  Throughout her extensive work history in and out of multiple school settings, including the Los Angeles Unified School District, Burbank Unified School District, and a number of private schools and community organizations, it has become clear to Ms. Blank that children and teens desperately need social skills training.  While developing and running programs designed to promote successful, socially competent children and teens, she has seen first-hand the direct link between personal success and social competency.

Ally Robinson received her Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Her years of highly trained experience and education have been committed to a variety of mental health issues related to individuals, families, parents, and children of all ages. 

Ally is a compassionate and enthusiastic mental health professional with a passion for fostering the healthy development of both children and their families. Her primary goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and open space where clients are inspired to achieve their utmost potential. Ally has specialized experience working with early development, anxiety, challenging behaviors, strengthening families, parenting issues, developmental delays, and difficulties coping with life challenges. 

Ally’s clinical work paired with past experience as a doula and child development specialist influences her joyous approach to connection and family relationship support. She has a deep understanding of prenatal and post-partum counseling, with a focus on nurturing healthy attunement and attachment. She finds her work coaching parents to be both rewarding and effective, while focusing on improving the quality of the relationship between parent and child.

Bahareh Shayegan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and received her master's degree in MFT from California Lutheran University. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults and women. Over the past 8 years she has helped her clients with wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, trauma, parenting difficulties, and grief. She has a warm creative approach to therapy and can incorporate a number of modalities such as Floortime, experiential, CBT, DBT, and humanistic.

Chris Castro is a Certified Medical Coder with over 15 years experience. When she  isn't billing for SCC she is running the billing department for a well  known Dermatology practice in Bakersfield, CA. 

She  is captain of her Relay for Life team, Mole Patrol. She enjoys spending  time with her family(and her 5 grandpups) listening to Stephen King  Audible books, watching 49er games and everything true crime.

Janine Ferrante is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.   Janine provides individual therapy sessions to adolescents, teens and adults, helping them cope with unhelpful thoughts, emotions and/or behavior. Janine’s supportive style is solution-focused and often integrates evidence-based practices, such as CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy) along with mindfulness practices and positive psychology, Her areas of specialty include Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Depression and ADHD, and other areas of concern that can arise with these challenges.

  Jen Vitanza received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge and joined Social Coaching Club in 2016. She has over 8 years of experience in providing psychotherapy to individual adults, children, teens and families and social coaching to individuals and groups. 

In addition, Jen has worked in a school setting for Counseling Partners of Los Angeles (CPLA), where she gained experience in working with and providing counseling to elementary and high school age students and their families. She continues her work at CPLA as a Field Supervisor, where she provides support and mentorship to counselors in graduate school and ensures a safe and thriving community to each of the schools she oversees.

Jen’s focus is to help individuals uncover their strengths and learn skills that will allow them to deal with challenges and obstacles they may be facing. Her specialties include: emotional management (stress, anxiety, depression, anger, grief/loss), crisis management, family/peer relationships, social skills, conflict resolution and working collaboratively with parents and families.

Kamron Poosti has five years of experience in the mental health setting. During his master’s program, Kamron was providing applied behavior analysis with neurodivergent children. Kamron Poosti earned his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Shortly after graduating, Kamron began working at a Department of Mental Health contracted agency providing therapy services. He specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Kamron has experience working with Autism, problem-solving, social skills, anxiety, trauma, and depression. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kamron developed a strategy to utilize video games and pop culture in treatment to provide psychoeducation and introduce new skills. Kamron provides treatment using a client-centered and strength-based approach.

 Knar Kahkejian earned her Master’s degree in Social Work, with an emphasis in Child Welfare from San Francisco State University. She specializes in working with at-risk youth, teens, adolescents and families. Her experience ranges from working in residential facilities with foster youth, Department of Children and Family Services, working within the education/school system to prepare children with Autism to reintegrate into mainstream classes, and community based mental health care. Knar’s role as a Social Worker has provided her with a unique lens when working with diverse individuals and populations struggling with various challenges, many of which inhibit them from reaching their full potential. She draws from her expertise in social work and clinical experiences to empower her clients to promote change within themselves. Everyone has the capacity to transform their lives and Knar is ready to support and guide you on your journey.

Marcy Ceballos earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Marcy is a well-rounded therapist and leader with 20 years of experience from working in non-profit organizations in different roles. Marcy’s passion, despite all her talents, is the core work with clients. She has exponential experience working with children of all ages, adults, and provides individual and family therapy. With so much experience, Marcy has the adaptability to provide individualized and effective treatment to clients with a varied approach from client-centered to systems based. Overall, Marcy can develop concise treatment plans in collaboration with clients in order to reach goals that are attainable to improve quality of life.  She is a compassionate and enthusiastic mental health professional with a passion for fostering the healthy development of those she works with. Marcy’s primary goal is to provide a safe and open space to inspire others to achieve their utmost potential.

 Molly Gaines earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Phillips Graduate University in Los Angeles. In addition, she holds a Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Illinois. Molly brings a unique background of education and experience to provide individual and family therapy sessions for children, adolescents, teens and adults. As a former health educator, swim coach and classroom teacher, Molly focuses on client strengths and abilities to motivate change in behavior. Molly has experience working with a diverse population of at-risk youth, specializing in trauma recovery, foster care, adoptive placement, and grief counseling. With certifications in parenting instruction and social skills training, Molly uses creative strategies to meet the needs of both parents and youth in addressing behavioral challenges.

 Shelley brings over 25 years of professional experience in Business Administration with a background in Purchasing. Shelley is a passionate, goal-orientated individual who has the talent to multitask. She makes sure the clients' first encounter is positive. She ensures that all feel valued and receive personal attentiveness each and every time. Shelley has a helpful attitude and goes all-out to deliver exceptional customer service. She follows through on requests, questions or needs in a timely manner; even if it means going above and beyond. She is responsible for most of the office functions, assists with scheduling appointments for therapists, and uses her organizational skills to ensure efficient operations. In her spare time, Shelley enjoys shopping, spending time with family & friends, traveling, attending concerts, and arts & crafts.

Shirley Del Aguila has over ten years of experience in the mental health field and enjoys witnessing clients thrive. Shirley was an undergraduate at University of California, Riverside and worked community mental health where she found a passion for therapeutic work. She then pursed a Master’s in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute. Since then, Shirley has worked in a variety of settings as a clinician, earned her licensure five years ago, and supervised community mental health clinicians. 

Shirley is adaptive and works with all age groups, including infants and toddlers. She holds strong clinical skills and believes in meeting clients where they are. Shirley utilizes strength-based approaches, Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and play therapy amongst others. Shirley looks for the strengths in each client while creating new narratives and patterns for a healthier lifestyle. She also uses a compassionate approach while still gently holding clients accountable in a safe space to reach goals developed in therapy. Overall, Shirley upholds her ethics in the utmost regard that ultimately provides a model for positive relationships whether it be for children, families, couples, and for individuals.

Tiffany Sarris is dedicated to supporting healthy relationships and overall wellness with individuals, families, adolescents and children of all ages. She enjoys working with teens and children and specializes in those with autism, developmental delays and intellectual disabilities.

She focuses on strengthening the parent-child relationship to promote a healthy dynamics and communication within the family system, helping clients find coping strategies for life’s major transitions and challenges, improving communication within interpersonal relationships and practicing introspection to gain personal awareness. Tiffany believes in utilizing a strength-based and client-centered approach that is tailored around each individual’s unique experience. 

 Tiffany earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and currently serves as an adjunct professor for the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Psychology.
